The Mauntex team regularly participates in the "International Natural Sausage Casing Association" (INSCA) conference. This year it was held in May in Budapest. As usual for Mauntex, within the framework of this conference, we met with our friends and partners - leading producers of natural sausage casings from Brazil - and agreed on a visit of our specialists to their facilities.

Every year, our Mauntex team is welcomed by Guarulhos Airport (Brazil), located in the capital city of São Paulo. From there, our three-day visit usually begins to the largest and most technologically advanced natural casing production facilities in the world, which use beef. The purpose of the visit is always to:

• Discuss the latest improvements in the technological process of producing natural casings at the manufacturing plant,
• Review packaging rules for the finished product for the Ukrainian market,
• Discuss supply volumes and preservative quality.

In addition, our specialists always discuss and monitor with representatives of Brazilian factories such nuances as:

• Changes in quality control requirements for the produced product in Brazil,
• The quality of the product at all stages of its production,
• The appearance of the product and calibration standards.

During the visit, Mauntex team specialists always physically measure the product for compliance with the declared caliber and check the product quality for compliance with A, B, and DOM grades.
