Company Mauntex (LLC "Mountex") has been an importer and manufacturer of natural casings for sausages since 2007. Specializing in supplying natural casing materials to meat processing plants, the company is one of the largest suppliers of natural casings in Ukraine, offering producers a traditional and high-quality solution for making various sausage products.
Mauntex History
"I love sports, and during one of my workouts, someone told me about the food industry in Western Europe, specifically meat processing, with some of its peculiarities," recalls the founder of Mauntex.
At the turn of the 2000s, sausage production in Ukraine was just emerging. While the market was dominated by large state-owned enterprises, small and medium-sized workshops for producing a variety of sausage products began to open.
In this niche, our country has a long-standing culture of production and consumption, but technologies were being improved. At the turn of the 2000s, all the conditions were created for this:
- The rise of regional private sausage production facilities,
- Technological leap due to the experience of Western European countries and both Americas.
First Imports
Asking the question "how does it work?" — the founder of Mauntex spent years searching for answers until visiting Brazil, the country leading in the production of natural sausage casings. In 2007, LLC "Mauntex" was registered, the first international contract was signed, and Ukraine received natural, high-quality, and technological raw materials for sausage production in natural casings for the first time.
In the same year, the Congress of the "International Natural Sausage Casing Association" (INSCA) was held in Valencia, Spain. Ukraine was represented by the company Mauntex. Since then, our country, at the level of private business, has become a full-fledged participant in a narrow-profile association, which is a hallmark of the highest quality and technological excellence.
